Precision design and extreme action!
Within the durable, full-wire plastic body of the Precision Xtreme Pencil lies an internal weighting system that makes this lure one of the most powerful casting lures in its class.
This internal ballast acts as a Dual Frequency Knocker: as the weight glides along the internal ramp, it strikes a high-durability plastic pillar and a stainless steel ballast in turn.
The result is a sequence of highs and lows that attracts nearby fish!
The Precision Xtreme Pencil, with extremely detailed finishes, is adorned with printed scales, a new 3D holographic eye and is available in 12 colors specially selected to get freshwater carnivores biting.

Our opinion:
If for a long time Rapala struggled to make lures that cast far, this is no longer the case.
That's precisely what appealed to us about this lure, which we intend either for stalking asp or for stalking big perch and other pike in the summer months.
If you fish a wild river, with shallow areas, this lure should clearly be in your boxes.
In lakes, the sound of the Precision Xtreme pencil will make perch \"rise\" several meters into the water layer.
And last but not least, we appreciate the careful arming (and made in France!) that won't force you to change hooks after two fish.
