The SP82M is a little gem that will be with you for years to come, without a doubt.
At ease on asp fishing (where you have to cast lures weighing often around 10gr only), as on sea fishing (soft lures, surface lures) or predator fishing (pike-perch, pike, perch), the 82M is a rod surprising by its casting capabilities, its power reserve at the butt and the pleasure it provides on medium-sized fish. We particularly appreciate its softer tip, which facilitates animation and absorbs the harmful vibrations of certain lures.
It will balance ideally with a reel in size 2500/3000, although a \"light\" 4000 version may be quite suitable.
In our opinion, a PE1 braid is the best compromise to get the most out of the rod.
