The STREAM MASTER S 1603 ML LITTLE CANYON is a three-piece rod designed for stream fishing for salmonids.
This rod features a fast action for random jerking action of varying amplitude on high-density swimming fish (TRICOROLL RYUSHIN and FLAT TRICOROLL).
It's ideal for fast-flowing or even torrential streams, making it easier to find trout posted under obstacles, hollowed banks, rocks and deeper areas. It will enable you to stabilize a lure in a natural drift, to support your streamer during 3/4 downstream drifts, even in strong currents, without saturating the blank, or to extract your lure from its initial trajectory, by shifting its axis to make it more attractive to active or ambushed fish. Jerking is a more irregular animation than twitching, since its mode of action calls for more or less long pauses.
This technique involves printing random movements of varying amplitude - usually rod up or sideways - then retrieving the line between each movement on the reel.
It has enough power to fight a nice trout or chub in a fast-flowing vein of water.
