Difference between the Medium (7-28gr) and Medium Light (3-18gr) versions:
These are two rods with different, complementary programs.
While the Medium version is perfectly suited to scratch fishing (lead head, linear) with 4 or 5 inch lures, the Medium Light version fits more with a program like drop shot, carolina rig or lead head fishing with 3 to 4.5 inch lures.
Ideal match:
On this ML 3-18gr version, we recommend using PE0.6 braid with a fluorocarbon leader of 6 to 7lb max (0.20 to 0.23mm).
