New 2024 model - new generation of STRADIC!
Those who have fished with a Stradic know...we're talking about the \"classic\" version here, not to be confused with the Bati Ci4 versions that were in the catalog a few years ago.
A STRADIC is a robust, reliable and pleasant reel.
It's clearly THE reel that made SHIMANO so popular in the '90s, and the brand has continued to improve the series ever since, renewing it every 4 to 5 years.
So, this new version benefits from X protect technology, to bring total waterproofing and to the mechanics, and protect it from sand as well as salt.
Passable everywhere, this 2500 version will be just as suitable for stalking pike or marine fish on a Medium to Medium heavy rod, as for outfitting a long trout rod.
The 2500 size is clearly the most versatile of all. The 5.8 ratio (86cm at the crank turn) will be a plus in strong currents or great depths.
