The Riser Bait 008 is a compact pencil bait of a new kind.
This original creation is innovative thanks to the inclination of its metal lip.
This gives it an erratic swimming action on the surface or under the film of water reproducing to perfection the escape of a forage fish.
Its optimal animation requires only a linear retrieve by the simple act of casting.
A fast retrieve will bring your lure to the surface while a slower, controlled retrieve will present it below the surface.
Destined primarily for bass fishing in Japan, the first element of research linked to the development of the RISER BAIT range was to reproduce the escape of a prey towards the surface.
During testing, we found that the majority of bites were made when the lure was rising towards the surface.
The size (80mm) of the Riser Bait is differentiated by its dorsal attachment point in order to arrange its armament which allows fishing as close as possible to weedbeds and obstacles minimizing the risks of hooking the lure.
All its features make it the lure of choice for triggering attacks from all our favourite predators (asp, perch, bass, bonito, black-bass, pike, baby tarpon, ...).
Its aerodynamic shape is a real asset when conditions are difficult with strong winds and when you need to reach distant hunts with ease.
