The new edition of Orvis RECON rods incorporates technologies and technical benefits found in HELIOS 3 rods. Entirely designed and produced in the Manchester factory in Vermont, this series is therefore aimed at fly fishermen who wish to equip themselves with highly technical rods but at a more accessible price level than the HELIOS 3 range.
The blank is designed on the same principle as that of the Helios 3 which improves the RECON's resistance to twisting while reducing vibration and improving accuracy. The blank is refined and the matt olive anti-UV coating is RECON Freshwater 10' silk 3 cane. The balance is also more accurate thanks to the machined aluminium reel seat with precious wood insert Made in USA which recenters the weight of the rod towards the handle.
