Made from machined aeronautical aluminum and featuring a progressive and powerful drag it's a pleasure for the eyes!
This reel truly represents Orvis' desire,
to offer anglers ever more high-performance fishing equipment.
They used the base of a reel that was already working very well,
and removed unnecessary materials to further reduce weight and stiffen the frame.
We modified the brake knob to make it more accessible and comfortable to
use. The disc brake is fully sealed with stacked carbon and
stainless steel discs remains one of the strongest on the market today.
Refined and lighter wide arbor fly reel
