With the Ultralight Jacket wading jacket, Orvis offers a highly waterproof and breathable garment whose lightness and flexibility offer incomparable comfort. Minimalist is not synonymous with fragile or inefficient... that's exactly what drove Orvis clothing designers to work on a modern wading jacket offering maximum comfort and performance. The Ultralight Wading Jacket is constructed from a 3-layer polyurethane-laminated nylon fabric, providing high waterproofing (20k) and extreme breathability (30k). A finish with a durable DWR water-repellent primer allows the jacket to drain water droplets well.
To complement the performance of the textile, the cut of this Orvis jacket offers style and freedom of movement. All costs are lined for greater durability. The hood provides perfect protection for the head, and adjusts in three points to stay securely in place with or without a cap on your head. The sleeves are fitted with Velcro cuff tighteners combined with \"Dolphin Skin\" material that hugs the skin and reinforces the garment's waterproofness. Once the tightenings have been adapted to the size of the cuffs,
it's possible to drag the arm through the water for a moment, preventing water from penetrating the jacket.
The YKK AquaGard® zippers resist water and remain flexible. They protect pocket contents from rain and splashes. This makes the main YKK AquaGard® closure highly protective and easy to use.
