KORDA kaizen green 42'' fishing net

Made from ultra-light, high-performance carbon fibre, with a superb satin black finish. With a beautifully turned 316 stainless steel tip at the end, this has created a net so light that, once assembled and in use, it rests perfectly on the surface of the water without the need for a float. One of the key points of the design was to create an \"original\" block.Something extremely light, very strong and unique in appearance. From concept to production, we updated the design four times over a period of around two and a half years. The final version is amazing to look at.Designed by our friends at JAG, it's incredibly light, but above all very easy to use and assemble. When you present the arms to the block, you'll notice that it has a slight oval shape on the inside, so we machined the block to have what we call a leading edge. This creates extra space for the arm when it's flexed and pushed into place. The arms emerge from the block at the perfect 91-degree angle, which, together with the use of the stiffest arms we could manufacture without compromising assembly, results in a truly charming shape. Each arm features an oversized rounded end in machined anodized aluminum, designed not to poke through and damage the mesh. This part holds the thick green cord between the arms with zero stretch and a perfect curve, keeping everything as tight as possible and helping to reduce drag when pushed through the water. The aluminum block is machined on the front and rear faces (you can see the arms inside). This feature further reduces weight and gives the unit a definite style. We added a small slot on the front face that can accommodate a 15 mm isotope (NOT included) and engraved the Spring Bow logo on the rear. The finishing touch was to spray the block in a wear-resistant Gun Smoke ceramic finish.

By having a very small-diameter pole, you increase the weight because you have to increase the thickness of the walls and thin-diameter handles are less easy to hold quite simply. A larger-diameter handle increases rigidity, is easier to use and more comfortable to hold. We can use a thinner wall section without having to compromise on strength or weight. Our model has a 6' handle that tapers from 23 to 18mm.
