This handle has been designed for versatility, high performance in all length combinations and for ALL competitive fishing situations. With a maximum length of 5m, it can be used for all styles of fishing, both on carpodromes and in the wild. The handle is made of three strands, plus a 1m extension.
This is a high-performance handle, constructed from high-quality carbon with reinforced joints on all parts. This makes it light, stiff and strong in any combination. At 5 m, it's ideal for courses where the bank is high and/or where edge vegetation requires you to go a long way to wear the fish down. In many competitions, having an extra length of landing net gives the angler added confidence.
The handle's versatility comes from its double thread on the last two strands. This gives anglers the option of a thinner end, which can be used at any length up to 5m. If you want a short, thin, light handle for a particular situation, there's no reason why you can't use just the first and second strands. You can also use the first, second and third strands, or the full 5m.
The second screw thread in the second strand gives anglers a much stiffer handle with a larger-diameter tip. This style of handle is very popular with carp fishermen, offering great strength and also giving anglers the power and control to manoeuvre their landing net through the water to catch big fish with confidence. The 1 m extension is really useful in this combination, as it gives anglers an extra 1 m of reach and control, while retaining performance and extreme rigidity with the screw thread on the second strand.
At the end of the 1 m extension, the handle has a floating protective cone.
