The IxI Shad Type-3 is a big diver that moves more than 2 m below the surface.
The LBO II system it's equipped with means it can be cast long distances and reach its swimming depth very quickly.
We particularly recommend it for fast prospecting fishing.
Our opinion:
The IxI shad Type-3 is an excellent lure for searching for perch and pike-perch along the edges.
In a boat, cast against the bank, it will follow the slope and go after fish close to coming up to feed.
From the shore, we enjoy using it in fine weather to skirt the palpanches of rivers and other canals.
Beware, it's not uncommon for a pike to come and grab the IxI shad.
Equipping it with a very thin flexible leader to avoid cutting is possible (Knot 2 kinky in 5kg for example).
