The ITO SHINER SSR is a jerkbait with a maximum swimming depth of around 50 to 70 cm to effectively comb the top of obstacles or weedbeds.
The atypically wide shape of its lip allows it to adopt a dynamic swimming action with a high-frequency rolling action emitting more light flashes than a conventional jerkbait to increase its attractiveness.
It is equipped with a balancing system consisting of three small movable tungsten balls that orientate its center of gravity downwards to ensure rapid movement and perfect balancing during animations and pauses.
Our opinion:
The Ito Shiner is a jerkbait/minnow that completes the large family present in the Megabass range.
It will find its use on \"shallow\" areas like we find here in Belgium on mixed water rivers, or on lakes like Madine (France) where the presence of weed beds prevent the use of many lures.
While a linear retrieve will suffice to catch fish, making short pauses by returning the hand after a well-dried \"twitch\" could be the key to success in difficult situations...
For optimum use, we advise you to remove the broken attachment ring if you use a staple, and to minimize the diameter of your leader while favoring soft materials.
