The Pikemaniac has a 12-meter head that is extended by a 4-meter handling zone.
The handling zone is a thicker section of silk just behind the head.
It facilitates handling of a long line in the air and improves line durability.
The profile is a reverse compound taper with a powerful, short front taper to cut the wind.
The Pikemaniac has a smooth, supple coating even in cold conditions.
The low-stretch core helps you feel bites and set the hook.
This core also transfers casting energy much better than traditional cores.
The ready-made loops make it easy to attach leader and backing.
The weight and density of the line are printed behind the front loop.

Pikemaniac flowing silks use our progressive density concept where density gradually increases to the tip of the line.
Except for SloMo silk, which is a full slow intermediate version.
This means that the first density in the description is the density for the running line and the back of the head, from which the density gradually increases to the tip.
For example, Fast Inter to Sink 3 will have a running line and the back part of the head in fast intermediate , then the density will increase up to the Sink 3 tip.
This prevents the line from sagging as it sinks, ensuring better contact with flies.
