The Klor hook model has been designed and created by Danny Fairbrass to be an aggressive, strong and fast hook with brilliant hooking potential with a variety of rigs. It's incredibly strong and proven to stand up to big carp fishing in extreme conditions , both at home and abroad.
The Klor has a very aggressive shape (even more so than our Kurv Shank hook), with the point in line with the eye, which encourages it to turn quickly and hook into a carp's mouth. Suitable for use with all kinds of rigs, including Combi Rig and Spinner Rig presentations, and with bottom baits, pop-ups and wafters.
The tip is long, ultra-sharp and slightly upturned, making it much less likely to be damaged by nuisance species, such as crayfish and small fish, displacing it on the bottom, especially when fishing gravel.
The line is heavy-gauge, resulting in a very strong hook that can be used in weedy or snaggy conditions, even when using braid, without fear of it bending. During testing, Danny landed carp weighing over 60 pounds in wild French waters full of snags. Despite the thickness of the line, the tip remains very sharp and the moustache barb, once the hook is retracted, will ensure its hold.
