The Tournament SW AGS HFS is an excellent caster for propelling swimming fish and small jigs far from the bank and reaching eddies and other otherwise inaccessible chases. Its high heel and large lever arm allow you to work the fish efficiently.

AGS (Air Guide System): carbon-reinforced rings, the lightest in the world (42% lighter than Titanium: with 9 layers of reinforced carbon fibre and 4 fibre directions, the lightest AGS weighs 0.028 g). Maximum rigidity for maximum resonance and outstanding sensitivity, bringing line vibrations directly to the angler's hand. AGS carbon is 3x stiffer and more conductive than Titanium of the same weight. The AGS rings are set on a braided carbon mat that reinforces the blank and amplifies sensitivity. A tip fitted with AGS rings returns to its initial position very quickly thanks to the lightness of the frame. Minimal vibration improves casting distances by 5% (manufacturer's data). The shape of the frame of the AGS ring series has been adapted to limit the risk of unwanted line entanglement and eliminate the formation of a loop by a simple pull.
X45: manufacturing process by superimposing spiral carbon fibres (90°), unidirectional fibres (0°) on three layers and two thicknesses of carbon laid by two opposing helical windings (45°). These two additional cross-wraps are known as Bias Cross Wrap. The X45 carbon wrap adopts an elasticity and return to the initial shape whatever the angle of the blank loading.
NANOPLUS: Daiwa uses Toray's nanotechnology and optimizes it with its own manufacturing processes for nanometer-scale resin adjustment! Resin nano-fixing optimizes the bonding of the best Daiwa carbons to obtain ultra-high-density blanks that are more sensitive, lighter and stronger all at the same time.
SVF (Super-high Volume Fiber): reduced resin quantity and amplified fiber tightening offer a lighter, more sensitive and even faster-acting blank.
V-JOINT: Shank following the curve of the blank: the structure of the V-Joint is a Bias carbon wound at 45 degrees: improved curvature and compression action of the blank, when casting or fighting. The Bias carbon of the V-Joint shaft has a perfect morphological memory and returns to its initial position as soon as the force exerted on the blank ends.
MICRO PITCH: when the webs are wound, a micro-pigment-based finish is hot-sprayed on. The absence of varnish brings lightness and sensitivity.
EXCLUSIVE REEL HOLDERS: the components engineering department has developed reel holders mixing innovations and Fuji® elements, exclusive for Daiwa rods.
FUJI COMPONENTS: the FUJI logo is associated with a Daiwa rod when it is made up of at least one FUJI component: reel seat or ring.
