WESTIN Bladebite V2 14gr Yellow spark
Supplier review:
This is version 2 of the Bladebite Tungsten Blade Jig, now featuring a thin but highly durable metal blade, custom-designed to create an amazing swimming action. The key to the BladeBite is vibration and action, when retrieved on the first cast or pause, the blade immediately hooks the water and begins to vibrate. A blade jig works equally well in clear and tinted water and is normally fished high up in the water column over grass, wood and rocky structure, where the seductive action stimulates predators to attack. In pressurized waters, a bladed jig can make the difference between success and failure. We've also added a solid oval split ring to the front for direct attachment to your fluorocarbon or for use with a steel leader. Feel free to experiment by adding any soft lure as a trailer. Curltails, paddletails and critters work very well and swim beautifully.
- Tungsten head
- Lead-free
- Single hook ultra-sharp and strong
- Trailer holding system - great grip and less damage
- High-quality hand-tied silicone skirts
- Westin custom-made metal blade
- Active Eyes
- Hand-painted tungsten head
Single hook 9g : #2/0 / Blade size : Small
Single hook 14g : #3/0 / Blade size: Medium
Our opinion:
The chatterbait has been a fashionable lure for pike and big perch anglers for some years now.
WESTIN presents here a new model with tungsten head and a specific blade attachment system.
While most chatters on the market have a clip that runs through the blade, here this is not the case.
The oval broken ring thus guarantees direct vibration of the lure, without having to wait for a full turn of the crank.
While the blade is thin, Westin gives it as very resistant, even on very hard strikes with rods with a very \"fast\" action.
The hook, finally, is iron-strong and designed not to flinch.
WESTIN has therefore brought out a chatterbait combining quality and affordable pricing with this model.
